All guides on this site are provided free of charge for personal use. Prices, visa rules and opening hours change — we update regularly, but always verify critical details (especially visa requirements) with official sources before booking.

Yaban Travel is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on the information here. Travel decisions, bookings and applications are made at your own discretion.

Trip planning service

Planning services are agreed individually in writing (WhatsApp or email) before any fee is due. The planning fee covers understanding your trip, designing your itinerary, preparing your quotation, making the bookings in your quotation, and support during your trip. Hotels, transport, meals and admission tickets are paid separately. We book them for you, and your quotation shows the full price of each item, including our handling fee.

Prices and quotations

Your quotation shows the full price of every item. Once you approve it, the price does not change. A quotation is valid for 14 days from the date of issue. After that, we re-quote and prices may change. All prices are final. We do not charge VAT.

Payment

Payment is in AED by bank transfer only. Bank details are sent after you place your order, and transfer fees are paid by you. The first payment is 50% of the planning fee. The second payment is the remaining 50% of the planning fee plus the costs in your quotation, due at least 30 days before departure (for later orders, right after you approve). Your booking is confirmed when we issue a written confirmation.

Cancellation and refunds

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your first payment, before we start work, we refund it in full (less bank fees).
  • Once we have started work, the first payment is non-refundable.
  • If you cancel after the second payment but before we make any bookings, we refund the second payment in full.
  • Once bookings are made, the planning fee is non-refundable. Hotels, transport and tickets follow each supplier's cancellation terms, which we list item by item in your quotation.
  • If we cannot deliver the service for reasons on our side, we refund you in full.

Approved refunds are paid to the account you paid from, within 7 business days of approval (less bank fees).

Revisions and use of your plan

One revision of your itinerary is included. Further revisions are quoted separately. Your itinerary and travel guide are for your own trip only.

Visa support

Visa support starts from AED 600, plus the government visa fee and the VFS service fee. We prepare your documents and submit the application for you as your authorized representative. The decision on every visa belongs to the Japanese authorities. The visa support fee is non-refundable, whatever the outcome of the application, including a refusal.

Weather, disasters and supplier changes

If a typhoon, earthquake, bad weather, a strike or a government restriction changes your plans, we contact the suppliers on your behalf, ask for refunds or alternatives, and pass on what they allow. We are not responsible for changes or cancellations caused by these events. Hotels, airlines and other suppliers set their own terms. Re-planning your itinerary is part of our on-trip support. We recommend travel insurance that covers natural disasters and trip interruption.
